Many of my friends are turning 20 including myself in a few months but that is already 20 years gone and what have I done? Really I have done nothing, gone to school because your told to, choose a path to follow and then thats what you do. I have chosen to go to University and study something that I enjoy and am interested in... but how many people really get what they want to do. Do they take the wrong path or choose the easy option?

There is so much to do within a lifetime, when people say 'live each day as if it's your last.' Can you really do that? What if you have an off day where you don't do anything and then that turns out to be your last day?

I know that I most certainly don't live as each day is my last and maybe that is bad of me but you just don't know, sometimes you don't get warning and if you do get a warning then that's when you should take full advantage of your days.

I just know that before I die I want to get married to my best friend, my only love. I want to have his babies and I want to live a happy and comfortable life. I'm not asking for much really but then is that bad of me?Laurenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18446108926703314726noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4216760252307735430.post-91985554944996806092011-02-28T06:46:00.001-08:002011-02-28T06:56:27.898-08:00Jennings

Rather than doing my own work, im blogging about other peoples... i do need inspiration some how! We are a global network of working artists with members in Vancouver, Portland, Seattle, North Carolina, St. Paul, Sydney, Brighton, and Norwich. Our hope is to bring together a community of artists, united by collaboration, to inspire one another. To have the sense of family and community restored, where we can belong and continue to give value to what we believe in. To have an open dialogue about everything we experience, and the free exchange of ideas, knowledge and tools.

Our focus is on collaborative works and initiatives. I have only put 4 pictures up but they intrigue me the most.

Nanny and Grandad

The photograph of my nanny and grandad is beautiful don't you think?
they look so happy, so beautiful, It's been a while since then and they are quite a typical old couple but they still love each other and thats all that matters right?

Im not sure who these people are but this photograph was taken at my grandparents wedding so they could be family or friends but I love how they are all looking in different directions, how 'proper' they look... they remind me of some sort of Mafia.

The last two photographs are from an older photo album but I still think they are lovely, how they are worn slightly, the colours they are just beautiful.
The last photograph of the two men was taken in 1922! All it says on the back is the date and 'he said i made his day' I really should be doing things like this, documenting my photographs by date order. My family members to come would be able to learn alot about myself, my family.

xLaurenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18446108926703314726noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4216760252307735430.post-34921216893940081512010-11-16T13:14:00.000-08:002010-11-16T13:22:13.140-08:00This is Austin Kleonhe is a writer / artist in Texas, I have been meaning to show off some of his work for a while now. Helvetica; so many brands use that now a days and it's not original anymore, perhaps thats just my feelings towards it but... they could do so much better plus there are so many facilities that Designers can use, I appreciate that the designer has but a little bit of effort into the new logo but it could look so much better.

What are your views on the new logo?

Source

xLaurenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18446108926703314726noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4216760252307735430.post-87313350151432790462010-09-28T13:08:00.000-07:002010-09-28T14:01:38.785-07:0050!Okay so this is my 50th post...not really impressive i know but im pleased with myself seeing as normally I dont last this long with continuing a blog, but I suppose it's good that i enjoy blogging on blogger.

Sorry I haven't posted anything for a while, I have been busy with Uni stuff and I wanted to share a few bits that I have been busy doing the last couple of days, I still have plenty to be getting on with though so as soon as im done blogging I shall be continuing with that.

GUESS THE LETTER!

this was our first brief we were given, crop your letter, scale it up and see if you can still make out what letter it is.
